Hi! I'm Erin (she/her/xe), Posh Ambassador, Level 2! 🎉💖 Welcome to my closet! No smoking, cat friendly 🥰 I keep my items away from my kitty though, sealed in plastic containers and bags, and try my very best to keep everything as clean as possible!🧼 My makeup/skincare items are *ALWAYS new/boutique*, sanitized, and I DO NOT sell used or swatched items EVER. 🧼 If I have a used item (clothing, home item, etc.), it has been cleaned. Covid-FREE closet!! 😷🧼 I love Poshmark because it promotes sustainability in allowing individuals to thrift & purchase secondhand, while simultaneously supporting the freedom to earn a little extra money when I have the energy! I have over 10 chronic illnesses/autoimmune disorders, so there are times I am low on “spoons” (as they say). But, I will always do my best to run my closet with a kind heart and clear communication. erinmevans A bit of friendly advice fellow Poshers!! ✨Always post the flaws of your items; be transparent- as a buyer myself, receiving a flawed item (that I wasn’t previously aware of) is very frustrating and a waste of time and money for both of us! ✨Communicate with your buyers, frequently and respectfully! It makes a difference 💖 If you’re away from your closet, put it on vacation mode, please. Don’t just disappear.

erinmevans More friendly advice 😘 Liking and bundling several items in my closet and then bailing (which a lot of Poshmark sellers seem to like to do as a selling tactic here) is tacky and what I consider to be harassment. If your items are truly authentic, sell based on their merit, sharing others items and participating in parties, selling like a genuine Poshmark seller would; by following the rules and being respectful. erinmevans To everyone: I’m sorry I’ve been gone so long and I’m not sure when I will be back. I have experienced the death of a close friend and my kitty is very sick and may die, too. I am struggling now and doing my best to just survive right now. I hope to be back with you all soon. erinmevans @seansanburn Thank you so much for your kind words 💗 The memorial is on Sunday, so there will still be times I won’t be as engaged as I’d like to be here. It’s still quite difficult. My kitty is doing better, although I have to keep a close eye on him because we’re still unsure what made him so sick to begin with. He did almost die, needed antibiotics twice and I sat with him feeding/watering him for days at one point- but he doing better for the moment!

If you can’t first fix the flaws of your items (professionally clean them, dust them off, get rid of the stains, patch holes, etc) BE HONEST about it! As a seller, there is nothing more frustrating to me than receiving an item that is “like new” that is nothing but.

erinmevans @lizcbaldini Oh yes- I did see that after I went through and reported all of the accounts that were scam/spam. 😔 It is disheartening to see so many winners who were no real Poshers 💔 I have reported this to Poshmark and to Posh mentors as well and hopefully they will take this to team meetings. This has been part of the bigger problem. 😢

lizcbaldini Hi Erin, how do you know if they are scam/spam? So doesn't PM check the listings during the challenges to see if they are actually listings? So this person doesn't exist or have listings and they still win? It is disheartening, now I feel like not trying anymore. I had foot surgery, so every time I have to get up to take pictures, etc. to post listings. I have to put my walking boot on and it's painful, but I do it anyway as I like to compete and win. lol. Thanks for your enlightment.

erinmevans @lizcbaldini I tagged you in a helpful post about scammers from my PFF Megan 💖 As far as that particular Posher goes, it looks like they were suspended and that’s why they have no listings up, even though it shows the numbers like they should- if that makes sense. So they were doing something that violated PM policies. I understand feeling frustrated and disheartened at times, and I’m so sorry for the pain you’re going through! If you saw my chronic illness post, I can relate (at that level).
