footcandy Thanks @marlanap! These are all closets that I'm obsessed with. The tips, the pics, and the sense of community are amazing! Would you mind taking a look at my closet and telling me if you think I should remove the logos from my images. Yesterday after reading @queenmumm blogs and posts I changed a bunch of my photos and added logos, then I realized I might not be posh rule compliant. I read the copyright page on the FAQs (way over my head) and emailed Poshmark to ask them, but I thought you may be able to assist and/or provide your opinion while I wait for the official response. Thank you so much! I'm so excited about this new community of amazing women!

marlanap Happy to help. I have not read all of the latest blog info, but I see Logos in closets all of the time, even the Suggested Users' Closets. In short, I think your usage is fine. Many SU's are the Poshers I tagged above so you can go look to see how they are using Logos too. I just opted not to use them and use other images instead. It boils down to personal preferences sometimes and not the Rules. But it is great you are sticking to the Rules and serious about it. 👏👏👏 One thing a friend or two told me long ago is to include the following in each description: the condition of the item and the wording: No Trades. As far as I can see, most Poshers I deal with regularly do not Trade. Posh has not banned it, but does not encourage it either. I also always say what the garment is made out of so all will know. Take pics of the item at several angles, especially shoes so they can see the bottom of the soles too. I use a quarter to show the general size of jewelry. The latter 2 suggestions I just figured out myself from looking at other Posher's listings. I usually use up all 4 pics for each item too. Some Poshers go into intricate descriptions of the measurements, etc. I do not have that kind of time 😀, but I feel that I provide very good descriptions. Sometimes potential Buyers want more pics, even you wearing the garment. I model when I can. Lol, some items just do not fit anymore! 😄😊😄

marlanap Also if your item is NWT, always mark it that way! Poshers love NWT, also NWOT if they can get it. Swimsuits and lingerie must be NWT at all times! You probably already know that. 😊

marlanap Your multiple shots are great so you may not need all 4 pics. I just tend to use a lot of Closeups. But now, I am starting to use more multiples, even for cover shots. 👍

marlanap @footcandy Well, I do tend to work on my listings and rearranging my closet very, very early in the morning which works well for me. I do work part-time (but not every weekday) so I have time frames when Poshing fits in perfectly. Some Poshers put up an at work listing or sleeping listing. I have a post like that which I sometimes use. When out of town, most of us create a listing for that too. Also Some Poshers close their closets temporarily due to illness, traveling, etc. In short, they might just mark everything Not for Sale until they resume. Lol, it is very time-consuming at the beginning when you are learning the ropes...taking all of your pics and writing all of your descriptions. That part is painstaking at times. But it really is worth it! In fact, I was just reviewing my progress and my 2014 Sales are up almost double what they were last year! Very happy about that! WhooooHooo! Having another income is great! 😊👏👏👏😊

marlanap @janet0103 gave you great advice. 👏👏👏 I am a bit Poshed out today. Have to take breaks and do other important nonPosh tasks. 😊😊😊 But I will add to what she said. Work your closets by way of all of the Parties as often as possible. I still try to share my closet regularly at the afternoon Party if I can. As for the night Party, I get up early so I am sleepy by then or might be already asleep. Lol. 😀 But I used to share a whole whole lot at night, my closet and especially the HP's of the night. Congratulating lots of others and sharing their HPs definitely gets you noticed. As a result, many Thank you by sharing back. Working your closet can also mean letting the Party Hosts know in advance that you are New and have items you want them to consider for an HP. Of course, you need to know in advance who the Hosts are to do that. Are you on a Party Alerts list yet? I do not think I added you to mine, but I can. LMK. 👍 Many Hosts will allow you to tag them in advance to specific items in your closet that fit their themes too. I have actually gotten a decent number of HP's like that. Thanking people for liking items in your closet ASAP and answering their questions about your different items ASAP are very important too because you are showing you are a caring Seller. I will stop there. Pardon me if I repeated anything Janet already mentioned or that you are already doing. Both of you have a great evening. 💃💃💃

sakshi9984 Wow @marlanap @janet0103 you girls are awesome. I got a new shipment today and since kids are at home so i was little busy too. Sorry about that but i guess Marlana and Janet gave you a plenty of information you would need. Also i would like to add just one thing .I have practicing this new trick and its working good with me . I usually share 10-15 items every 45 min or 1 hr depending on how i get times with little ones , But this gives more traffic to your closet. and when people search they will notice your closet more. Your listings are great and beautifully pictured so its a plus point for you. Well this is something i do . Its up to you if u want to try the trick and see if it works out for u also. Also like this way you don't have to take a lot of time to share your whole closet and you can share your closet completely at the Party. Hope it helps.

footcandy Good Morning Everyone! My apologies in advance if I'm asking too many questions. Seems like the more I dig in, the more fun I have and the more I want to figure things out. My question for the day is a two part question. (1) it seems like 15 shares is the magic number on PM - why 15 and not 10? Is there a strategy or math behind it. Just curious 😊 (2) is there a trick for faster sharing? I share from my iPad which seems to be faster but I wish there was an option to select the items you like and then hit "share". sakshi9984 @footcandy No ebony it's completely ask questions you have in mind and do t forget to help someone when you became a pro 💕👍. Well the answer to your question is there is 1)No there is no math behind sharing but the more you share the more others share back . I sulaya hate my 20-25 items and share 10-15 closet (10-15) depending upon my time . And then after a while when I start getting those shares back (may be in an hour or so ) I again share my 20-25 items and repeat the process till I have time . But some share groups have those limits of share that you must follow 💕👍. 2) I pad is the fastest way to share and phone is slowest . I wish there is an option to share multiple items in a click but there is no such option 😬. Also if u share with a shopping view it's easier and social view. Hope it helps 💕👍

51twenty Ebony, great questions. Feel free to always ask😊 1) 15 Shares. Those are usually for share games. Some ladies who are hosting share (games) require that as a minimum. Ex. One of the share games I'm in you only share 5x for one item. Share games are optional, but they give you an opportunity for more sales. They'll be more looks in your closet because of all of the Sharing. There's so many different types of Share games if you choose to try one out. My advice: find one that works for U. 2) Faster sharing: No tricks or Secrets. I'm asked that a lot. If you have an iPad - on the bottom of each listing is a 🔁 tap on that to share with out opening each item all the way up. Let me know if this helps...because I'm here to help! @footcandy

I may email or sms(text) an item to someone. Facebook iG I'm not on.. But if you are you can share to those sources too..@footcandy

Do I go to where everyone is and click on their photo and go into their closet and shari 3 pieces of jewelry 3 times? Do I click the first piece 3 times then go to the next and click on the same piece 3 times too? And down on the line.

You would open the listing -just say for today Thursday and you will see a list of people who are signed up for today. Those are the ladies who want to participate for the day. You would share their jewelry items. 3 items in a 1-2-3 🔴1-2-3🔴1-2-3🔴 which will equal 9. Then you go on to the next person who is sign up for the day. And on and on down the list. When you are complete type "Jewelry". This indicates you are done. Sign up is before 12pm each day. Sharing takes place from 12pm to 12am. Anytime within that window you can share. 💫 @shari23114
