nomoreshines OMG, two beautiful creatures (well, three actually)! Did you tame Sweetheart yourself? Hahaha though, I wish to have more pics of my dog myself but lighting's always poor. A chemist?! Impressive, difficult, cool are a few words that come to mind. Always envious of those that have command of the sciences - it sadly all went downhill for me somewhere in high school, tsk. In what field, may I ask?

dark_out_here @nomoreshines I take so many pictures of my girls to get a few good ones! Haha I seriously have 1200 pictures of cats on my phone right now! Last winter my mom and I rescued Sweetie and her 7 siblings from a barn.. they were very wild! Now she snuggles and plays fetch ;) thank you for the response to what I do-- usually I hear "ugh I hated chemistry" haha I'm an inorganic chemist and I currently work in microchip fabrication R&D.

nomoreshines I'm amazed b/c they look as though they get along swimmingly, never would have guessed one used to be wild. I'd love my gal to have a friend, but I need to teach her some obedience first. She's been with me for 1 year and I'm still a pushover. Anyway, what an incredible feat for you and your mama! Did you already have Isabella or did she come after?

nomoreshines This is so random, but last week I saw a vid of Bjork dismantling a TV. Funny since I've not even heard her music (yet) and b/c she talked about the circuit board and wires. No relevance to your career 🙈 but the sound of what you do made me recall it.

dark_out_here @nomoreshines oh man I love bjork! I probably like homogenic best.. In fact I sing Isobel from that album to Isabella sometimes ;) she's been with me for 5 years! I used to have an old black man cat but he passed right when I adopted sweetie.. so Izzy isn't used to having a kitten around. They don't get along great all the time. .. pretty much like sisters I guess :P

dark_out_here What type of dog is your girl? A friend of mine has been doing obedience school with her adopted dog and she's doing so good. It's also a good way to find out what personality type of dogs your girl gets along with! My mom has a boarder collie and ask she cats about is sticks, she couldn't care less about other dogs haha

nomoreshines Then that is the album I shall start with! I had intended on giving her music a listen after I watched the video, but there were so many options on YouTube, didn't know where to start. Haha, a lady told me she remembers my dog b/c one of her fav movies is one called Willow. Shouldn't make a diff, but I want to watch it with my dog since they're namesakes lol

nomoreshines I'm sorry to hear of your loss. Adore black cats, grey ones are a favorite as well. Been too long since I interacted with any feline friends. I was told she was a mix when I adopted her, but I think they were puzzled by her sable colored coat. Willow's a Cocker Spaniel. I've been toying with the idea of classes for her, but I'd like to see if I can give her the basics before. Checked out Dog Training for Dummies, haha.
