And yeah, I've been dissappointed over there for a while, I made my profile here in december, but I didn't start being active until May. Made my first sale on May 17 and haven't looked back! I've made JUST over $1000 in 3 months so .... yeah lol I'm doing OK here. I love it! I love poshmark, I can't believe I didn't join sooner. How are you liking it?

sassafras19 Love it here. It just eats all my time tho. I hate that there's no way to save Poshers. I don't like that everyone can read your convos. There is an upper echelon here...you have to work your way in. Those are my only complaints. Oh, returning shares. Tiring. I don't share noncompliant closets so I go through each one before sharing. Looks good, looks good, crap. Bottom of the closet....a breast pump, only used twice. Ugh. Better than tho.

closetoptimist But I have found that there are way more buyers here than elsewhere, which I like because I'm just trying to sell, a profit is fine, but I'm really just trying to make room lol. I like my little "side-hustle" as my boyfriend calls it, but it's really about bringing a little joy to other people for me :)

My goal is to minimize my wardrobe❣️👁👁❣️But for Poshmark :-my advice is as a Posh Buyers & Sellers -esp of designer bags to determine if you're buying from or selling to a Posher who makes big money 200-300% profit off of your item ->You can look at a potential buyer/seller Poshers history through-> love notes < to see if they are flipping.. I've been at this over a year so it did take kind of a while! my best advice is apply to be a suggested user - you can e-mail posh and ask to be one and they'll review your closet. Then, what I do, is I find someone with a lot of followers (like over 300,000) and follow everyone that follows them. Most of them will follow back!

closetoptimist @meganmarissa Getting boutique items is also pretty key, it's hard to know what's gonna be in high demand - and there's a lot of flooding the market. I try to find stuff elsewhere on the internet than posh, because then I have new and unique stuff.

closetoptimist @meganmarissa I also recommend checking out macy's clearance and sites like nordstrom rack and saks off 5th clearance sections to get designer stuff super cheap to resell. You can download browser add-ons like "honey" and "ebates" so you can get money back for your purchases too! :)

closetoptimist @meganmarissa my trick is that I go on my phone to the "find people" section around 9-10pm and I follow everyone who is following those suggested users. I find those are people who want to follow more closets. The follow game posing also definitely helps! And yeah, lots of people shop the clearance sections online at department stores to get brand new brand name items to resell!

I have no idea why it hasn't started tracking in my yet and I am so, so sorry. I ALWAYS ship within 24 hours, I will contact my post office on Monday and see if they can locate your package and if not I will cancel your sale and you can repurchase and I will ship same day and have it scanned in myself.

closetoptimist @amkhan I dont really purchase from poshmark's wholesale market, I but my items directly from wholesale manufacturer's so I can get them in bulk. when you buy multiple items at once from a wholesaler, you spend a little bit more at the beginning but you can sell each item for more individually.

I will say that relisting new items often helps bring traffic to your closet. Lowering the prices helps too, but dont go lower than you want! Once you reach your bottom line price, I would relist!

mechamplin Hello, I am not sure how to reach you. I have been looking out for the olive shirt dress I ordered from you and it has not arrived, and I keep getting noticed that it arrived 4 days ago. Apparently there was a mistake when I updated my address. It updated only billing. So, I have sent this same message to poshmark. I made another purchase that has the correct addresses and had no problem. What happened, I wonder? Have you received the package back?
