@bambam_pebbles I have been on here 1 year without an issue. Just keep all transactions on posh. If anyone messages you with their phone number or says to email them, egnore the request or tell them "thanks for the interest, to purchase hit Buy Now".. This has worked for me to weed out the maybe 4 sketchy encountersπ. Def not an issue to worry about long as you rem to keep all sales on Posh.

@wrforrest Q4 means the 4th quarter of the year. I had to google it because I kept seeing instagram posts about it and had no idea what anyone was talking about. It basically means sales increase because it's the end of the year with major holidays, when everyone is buying gifts (thanksgiving, christmas, new year).

@wrforrest Yes, I've been seeing them more and more. I'm not sure how I feel, someone brought up a good point that it will just flood the market with more sellers than buyers. But sellers eventually buy at least one item, right? And also the more popular the app gets the more likely someone will say "let me check poshmark instead of driving to the mall." At least that's what I hope lol

@mildred8168 Hi Mildred, I have received and responded to all of your notes. The only way I know how to change a rating is to go to your purchases and change it from 3 stars to 5. If you are unable to do this, perhaps the time limit is up and the app will not let you proceed. Either way, don't worry about it, it's not a big deal.

@got_boots hi there! Thank you so much! No I don't edit them. I'm not a big app person so I wouldn't know what to use to edit them even if I wanted to lol. I think the key is the white background and the lighting kit (small $35 kit). I used to photograph on a yellow/blue/purple background (depending on the color of the item I'd choose one of those colors) and the difference was huge once I switched to all white.

@got_boots the background (backboard and base) is a shelf from home depot, I had them cut it in half. And I took two pieces of poster board and put them on each side creating my own "photo box." Between that and the light I think it allows for brighter photos. Hope that helps!

Unfortunately any mention of "fakes, knock-offs, etc." sets off unnecessary poshmark alarms so I started with those shoes. If you're still interested the shoes were relisted, you're welcome to offer the same sale price of $15.
