Whitby Jet necklace w/ Fools Gold inclusion, Silver accent, Pyrite, 925

"Fools 'gold"/pyrite, is a natural inclusion in Whitby jet, shows up as small, shimmering flecks or striations within the jet itself. The pyrite is on the back corner of one bead. 925 stamped on the clasp. The clasp appears to be a replacement. The frames that hold the emerald cut Jet stones look hand done, the metal is a soft and pliable and could use restoration, it is easy to manipulate. If I was keeping it I would spend some time smoothing the frames out. This is a shorter necklace, an elegant length. Measures approx 18.5" end to end Age unknown. Mourning necklace.
