It's a heavy weight, in a luxuriously soft merino wool. It really does feel like a hug, with a flattering boat neck. Generous sizing. New condition I think, I never wore it, as it didn't fill a hole in my wardrobe. It's truly gorgeous! and is a weighty when on, it has the same coziness as a Cowichan, with softer wool.
