@koshik i want to be clear here the button marked feed is where the shares go its a shopping feed..our msgs to each other go on the news feed and things you like on will give you a msg on news feed when they are lowered in price and all party invites are on your news feed..i dont want to confuse you bc there is a plain shopping button that looks like a magnifying glass. Not there..thats for you to do your personal shopping etc..you will love it here

I would say share a few items from as many other closets as you are able every day, attend the parties that are applicable to the items in your closet (makeup, dresses, shoes, etc and you'll receive notification of them), as well as gain as many followers as possible. @samtalee613 On the laptop, you'll see a "parties" link in the banner at the very top in a dark grey/brown. It's the fifth link from the left. It will show you upcoming parties. There's usually a party at 9AM, 12PM, and 7PM PST. But I would concentrate on the sharing and following more. :)

Well. We fellow songbirds have to stick together! I'm a singer, too. But none of my pups sing OR howl. But my Swedish Valhund that I inherited from my late husband is a herding breed and, oh brother!, does she ever bark. She also looks like a short 🐺 wolf. Who needs a security system? @categirl that is nerve wracking but we're only human! Sometimes the buyers are willing to return the item to you, but I would wait for Poshmark to answer back and help you deal with it. They may have a new strategy that I don't know about. It will take them a few days to answer, but don't worry. They'll rectify the situation. Let me know how it goes. 😊

If you have a soft tape measure and a sheath dress at home, you could probably compare. I also have some very comfortable tops that I've worn when I was .10-14. I'll tag you just in case.

@midoa hiya! Your closet is lovely! Beautiful items, great photos. I think if you put the brand, color, size and shape (tailored, a-line, ruched) in the description rather than beautiful, cute, etc that is really helpful. Many Sellers just happen to be googling and come across items on Poshmark. You have some great brands so that should help. Also, flat measurements in the description help with impulse buyers. Sometimes asking for measurements and waiting can kill a sale.

@midoa post 2. As for sharing, always share your closet first before returning shares. Try to do so three times a day around party time if you can. Use the edit feature to get it out on the general feed. Next would be to add followers. Look up brands that you are selling and follow the closets, look up sold listings and follow whoever liked those items. Go to any large closet and follow all their followers.

@midoa post 3. It usually takes about two weeks before changes make a difference in your closet. Poshmark is a social app and unfortunately that means Sellers end up spending quite a bit of time here. I would give it more than the end of the year. Right now Poshmark has implemented a lot of new changes with their Posh Ambassador program and things are a bit hinky. oct. is usually a good month, but hasn’t been so far. November and December are typically very high selling months.

@midoa yes, the edit, next and list. Otherwise it’s just going to the people that follow you. At least that’s the consensus now. Poshmark is always playing with the algorithm, hence the month of October is not so great this time.

@mintchipcookie hi! So, when you use the edit feature instead of just share, it’s sharing out to all of Poshmark rather than just your followers. And there are SO many closets out there, you could never overshare. Poshmark is a very social place and will reward you the more you engage. So, share your entire closet with the edit feature around three times a day, preferably around party time.

Also, add as many items as you can to your own closet. The bigger the inventory, the more chance of something catching someone’s eye.

I would recommend listing as many items as you can in your closet, sharing your own closet, sharing others and following the followers of the bigger closets. It all helps the algorithm. Another way is to not only be a seller, but to purchase items from time to time. That helps boost your visibility as well. I hope this helps!

I forgot to tell you how much i love all the dogs shown on your closet and all your efforts and promotion in rescuing them... My dog Flynn is such a rescue too.. from a cruel amish breeding puppy mill...it took a very long time to get him to feel safe and know how to be a happy dog..but he is now!
