Originally from the east side of NYC, now on the east side of PDX. Nice to meetcha! I love my stuff but I have way too much of it! What you find here was bought by me, for me, at retail except for a few vintage bits Trying to pare down my stuff ... so I can look for new stuff! If it's from 1890 -1948, or 80s Japanese, 60s Italian, "creepy beautiful" or eclectic, it will probably appeal to me...and I'm a sucker for sparkly things and authentic mourning pieces. dchillas @eastsidesusan you can open anyone’s closet by clicking on their icon and as far as messaging goes there is only comments you can send a direct message to a person where no one else can read it if you or the other person has created a bundle if you become friends with somebody and you want to communicate off Poshmark I give my phone number out to text back-and-forth let me know if you have anymore questions🌺

dchillas @eastsidesusan I think there is a way to message someone I can try to figure it out tomorrow if that’s what you’re talking about I’ve never done it but I’ve Heard people talk about tagging people or messaging people I’ve never done that I’ll reach out to somebody who might know but the comments are just like a message and if they’re under the item everyone can read them if they’re in a bundle their private💕

There IS a designated area for communication. Meet your Posher. It takes Forever to scroll through that. New comments are on the bottom. I think there's a YT video of Cyndi visiting well after she became famous. So many great places like that but sadly now all gone. I didn't know your hair's not naturally straight! D Harry was/is a total goddess & I idolized her, much to the horror of my mom. I was 10 & begging to bleach my hair, showed my mom her photo. Mom’s reaction? 😱“She looks like a junkie hooker!” Not quite the Bible belt but not done by nice girls from good families and all. 🤮I got revenge when I was 15 - cut my hair a la A Lennox, bleached what was left & dyed it blue.

It just takes a minute to think about how you want to organize stuff, in a way that makes sense to you.Use whatever tech tools you're most comfortable with now - you can always revise later if you want. eastsidesusan @rosierecycles Anything I can do to help, even if it's just cheerleading, I'm happy to do! I've been shopping estate sales/thrift stores since age 12 (long time 😂) but really only buy for me & then sometimes sell when I'm overwhelmed by things. That said, tech makes resale easier than ever but also more competitive than ever. Which isn't to say that you can't $$$ do it cos you have a great eye. It is a lot to keep on top of though. (Try slinging vtg furniture if you wanna age 10 years fast! 😱)

I have a complete Bakelite vanity set but no vanity right now so it’s on top of a chest of drawers in the bedroom. One day I will be glamorous enough for an impossibly art deco vanity (And find the right one!). Then I fully intend to spend 4 hours sitting at it, making myself gawjess 😉💋💅🏻

Yay for making people happy w art supplies (they’re never wasted, kwim) I might also have a textile problem 🙄and had to buy new sewing machine during pandemic cause couldn’t wait a month for mine 2 get fixed(can’t sew clothing tho🙄😂ok the destashing continues!

Last time I took a flight the TSA guy was about 20 & looked at me like I was crazy cos I had 2 "antique" 😉cameras & bricks of film, 120 & 35mm. Didn't know what to make of it/me. I do love technology but TBH if it's important to me, I shoot film. When Photoshop smells like stop bath, maybe I'll come to love it. Textiles! Oh boy, let's not start there. I had to stop w fabric because I just can't house *everything* but, man❤️

maproot @eastsidesusan omg D761:2 for 15 minutes I think - I bought my Rollei from a friends Dad (who’s a passed away severe years ago) so it’s sentimental and it once fell out of its case onto a train platform and was ok (stuck a little at 1/15 but otherwise ok! Pandemic was going to give me time to scan all slides and begs 😂😂but there are entire cabinets to go🙄😬🤔😂! I want to keep just a few cameras😂and PDX is such lush place to photo as well(sigh)
