It’s definitely not a flannel. It’s a cotton material, like a heavier business casual weight. That being said, I’m still going to keep it to wear over tees in cooler weather, but I’m bummed it’s not a flannel. Ship time was great, packing was nice, shirt was clean - I have no other concerns.
