Oscar de la Renta vintage silk houndstooth scarf, with metallic gold paisley

The kind of elegant designer style and design you'd expect from Oscar de la Renta but with particularly beautiful details. The main part of the scarf is a deep rich burgundy houndstooth with black and green running through it. However there is a complex texture to the weave with bas relief burgundy paisleys in the background behind the houndstooth pattern. Setting off the lush dark colors is the brilliant metallic gold of the paisley border. The paisleys have intricate details in the burgundy and other colors woven in with the bright, reflective gold thread. Hand rolled, hand sewn sides and eyelash fringe on the ends with the Oscar de la Renta signature woven into the scarf in the lower right corner just above the burgundy hem and fringe. In excellent condition, especially for vintage - really it's in mint condition or very nearly with no flaws I can see.
