lizlefebvre1979 Hi, is this really a US 48R? Sorry to ask but some people have listed UK48Rs as US sizing and it’s very different. What’s the shoulder measurements please?

arthurwbrown @lizlefebvre1979 Coppley is manufactured in Canada in Ontario and they use the American sizes. But having said that they also do a lot of made to measure custom work, so there could be more variations than off the rack, I posted measurements in the photos is there another shoulder measurement you would like? The waist measurement is definitely smaller than a typical size 48 so I think this jacket has been slimmed up by an alterations tailor probably room to move back out if needed.

lizlefebvre1979 thanks for answering. My husbands 48 jackets measure about 24 at the waist measurements so this one at 21 runs a little small. I appreciate the details you provided!

arthurwbrown @lizlefebvre1979 no problem, sounds like you would be best served by a “Box” cut Fit, I would recommend looking at Brooks Brothers they are famous for that cut of Suit.

drjoepogson @arthurwbrown I notice your ruler has 21 listed twice (my wife has been messaging you previously by the way) that second 21 is 24 I assume which matches a jacket I have that fits me well edge to edge 2 inches below the arm pits then seem to seem at the shoulders mine is 21.5 vs yours at 21
