Hermés “Brides de Gala” Silk Scarf // Vintage 100% Silk Scarf Made in France

Authentic Hermés Scarf in a deep, dark, rich green and gold color palette. I found this gem while helping my grandmother move - it was a gift from her high fashion loving aunt and she never wore/used it. In fact, she never took it out of its dust bag except for the one time when she first received it. That is why the creases are very deep and defined but someone who is silk scarf savvy will have no problem getting rid of them…I just don’t dare try because I’m not that savvy. The dust bag itself has seen better days (the flap is quite torn) but it has certainly done its job of protecting its contents because this scarf is in near mint condition, if not mint. The “stain” happened once it fell into my hands - I don’t even know how, but I don’t believe it’s actually a permanent stain. Initially it was a little more saturated and appeared to possibly be a bit of blush or eyeshadow but I carefully and easily got rid of most of it. I just didn’t want to go further with it because I was afraid of roughing up the fabric. And honestly it’s barely visible and I doubt anyone would even know it exists if I didn’t feel compelled to point it out - with this being a pricey item I want to be very clear and thorough with my description. Measures 90 sq cm and is silk twill with hand rolled edges.
