I had a topy (protective rubber sole) put on the bottom, only to discover after that they are just a touch too big for me when I wear them with stockings. The heel height is 3.5 inches. The topy protects the bottom of the shoe and also makes it non slip, it can be removed and replaced without any damage to the shoe. The US size is 7.5, and EU size is 37.5. Fits true to U.S size.
