Hi! I'm Eva, and I’m a multidisciplinary artist living amongst the old growth coastal forests of South Shore Nova Scotia. I’ve always loved interesting and unique fashion, and my time spent living in Toronto, Montreal, and Northern Italy reinforced my desire to treat personal adornment as an extension of my creativity no matter where I may find myself. I am in the process of reconstructing my wardrobe of basics from my stay-at-home-mom days, and will be uploading a bunch of great basics that no longer fit my body type, or were purchased and never worn.
I’m not loyal to any specific brands, but some of the more recognizable designers and shops that have produced looks I’ve enjoyed for years are Rick Owens, Jil Sander, Ann Demeulemeester, Sarah Pacini, Haider Ackerman, COS and Reborn (a Montreal clothing boutique, may it RIP.) There are probably a dozen more, and even more obscure independent clothing and jewellery designers (Shout out to my good friend Zula! She’s a Vancouver based jewelry designer and her neon love and nature inspired lines are gorgeous — zulajewelry.com)

Hi Eva! Thanks for buying the sweater and the belt. I wonder if you can avoid shipping fees by somehow bundling them? Not sure if that’s possible after the fact but if you want to check with Poshmark I will wait til tonight (Vancouver time) to ship. Let me know what you find out. Otherwise I’ll ship them separately. Hi @ohlidia ! I was pleasantly surprised to find that the bodysuit fit perfectly. TBH I wasn’t expecting it to since my dimensions are usually tricky to find a good fit for. Big butt + wide shoulders, but somehow it worked! Very best wishes to you in the new year and in your future poshing!

@archetypo If you need good shoes to go to a good home, I’m your gal. Also, hoping to get some measurements on the men’s Trippens you have for sale. I desperately want them to fit my husband. He’s a size 11, and has wide feet and flat arches, and he’s particular about footwear. So much so that I think he owns 4 pair of shoes total and that is unacceptable. 🤣

I was married to a West African guy; one year we met in Burkina Faso. He showed up with twice as many shoes as me. I'd bring him several pairs every time I visited 😂
He wears a fairly std 11.5 - the Trippens were bought for him. They measure exactly 12" from heel to toe, so 11 3/4 for the insole I'd think. Widest part of the foot is 4.25", but it's nice leather & I understand Trippens break in really beautifully.

@archetypo that is all really great to hear in terms of measurements. I have several pair of trippens and I think they tend to fit true to size or a bit bigger. The leather they use is such great quality that it really does conform to one’s foot with basic wear. Lemme get my budget in order and I’ll send you an offer for the trippens for my Dave.

@evaromita Good to know about Trippens also - I bought a pair in size 40 and they're a bit of a tight squeeze, but maybe I just need to work them in a bit more! I definitely don't want to part with them yet 😎

@archetypo you can also buy shoe stretching spray that I have found a lot of success with in using with leather shoes I found too narrow across the toes. Maybe try some of that while you’re breaking them in, and they’ll conform to your feet faster!

@evaromita I've used that stuff before, it takes a while with heavier leather but it really does work - used it on a pair of golden goose biker boots, totally worth the effort. Maybe I'll get to wear my Trippens soon 😁🙏🏼

Aaaah, I'm so sad the Trippens didn't work out! And yes, of course reposh them. Thanks so much for the wonderfully long love note, longest love note ever, lol.
