About Couture Alchemy: In 2021 I embarked on my weight loss journey by adjusting my diet and rekindling my passion for physical fitness. I loved how I was feeling and I wanted it to show! I spent a small fortune on clothes throughout my journey, and quickly realized this wasn’t sustainable given my frequent drop in size; I started sourcing pre-owned clothes and fell in love with the challenge. I also found the “problem” I was experiencing as a bittersweet part of my journey, was a common side-effect I shared with other weight loss warriors. The struggle was real. In the Spring of 2023 I launched Couture Alchemy to help women express their “proof of work” by shopping cost-saving sustainable fashion. The items I hand-pick are items I would wear, some of them are items I have worn, some of them are brand new. Couture Alchemy is a concept that blends the artistry, craftsmanship, and transformative qualities of haute couture with the creation of fashion pieces that are not only visually stunning and luxurious but also possess an element of transformative power. I firmly believe in the importance of rewarding oneself throughout the journey, recognizing the ongoing transformation, and acknowledging the progress made. By doing so, we stay motivated to become the best, healthiest version of ourselves.
