Tabitha Simmons x Johanna Ortiz silk-satin jacquard wrap sandals, EU40, NWT

These spectacular wrapped sandals are the result of a collaboration between Tabitha Simmons and Joanna Ortiz. They have a 4.25" chunky heel, and they're finished in a gorgeous silk-satin jacquard printed with tropical foliage & cockatoos on a deep orange background. The ankle wrap and even the ankle strap can be removed, so you can wear these as a simple slingback if you want to tone it down, but the wide ankle wrap adds a dose of flamboyance. No matter what else you're wearing, these shoes will absolutely steal the show. I have a sneaking suspicion that these shoes may also wine & dine you, then take you out salsa dancing. They would have fit right in with the most recent Met Gala theme. They're marked size EU40, and I can fit my medium width size 9.5 feet into them comfortably but with no room to spare. They should also work for a size 9. Sadly, walking, for me, would be a challenge, and salsa dancing is right out of the question. They are still brand new in the box & never worn, but there's a scratch on one of the soles - can be seen in picture, will likely get scuffed out the first time you wear them.
