Konichi-wa! My name is Mary and I am so glad to meet you! I am a retired empty nester with a passion for the art of Bonsai! I enjoy training and learning from a local Bonsai Master and have been developing my skills for about 3 years. I fell in love with the art watching my mom do it, but as a mom with a huge corporate job, I never had the time to really enjoy doing things for myself. After my mother passed away during Covid, I found her Bonsai tools as I was going through her things to sell at the Estate Sale. Those tools led me to my passion, which in a way reconnects me with my mother whom I still miss dearly. Working as a Senior Manager in Investment Management for over 45 years, and adopting my daughter as a single mother, I literally had no time for myself. Now I get to do what I want, when I want... what a concept! But... Bonsai has turned into such an expensive hobby, I have had to turn to Poshing to earn some extra money to support my habit! Poshing has turned into something so fun to do! I really do liken it to my previous career. You buy things low, you sell thing high. People bid to make a market in the item, and it is truly about supply and demand. The less of a supply, and more of a demand, the higher the market return will be. So in theory, I have taken my previous work into a specialty focus... RESELLING! So thank you for supporting me and my hobby! Retirement is NOT CHEAP!!!
